Competitive Debate Classes.

Join our debate class at Intertext Education, where the art of persuasive communication meets intellectual rigour. Our expert instructors guide you through the intricacies of crafting compelling arguments, mastering rhetorical techniques, and honing your debating skills. Whether you're a novice looking to build a strong foundation or an experienced debater aiming for excellence, our class offers a dynamic and supportive environment. We organise our classes online so you can join us at the comfort of your homes!

Academic Structure

Beginner Debate Class
Intermediate Debate Class
Advanced Debate Class
After a minimum of one (1) year and based on the results of the student’s Year End Assessments, the student may be graduated to a higher level.
A Competitive Debating student in a Beginner class will be transferred to the Intermediate class upon completing one (1) year and passing their Year End Assessment. Year End Assessments will be conducted in the form of an internal competition, consisting of writing and practical assessments. The Year End Assessments are compulsory for all students.

To ensure maximum learning progress and growth, the student is encouraged to attend all classes throughout the semester. If students are absent from class, there will be no replacement class arranged.

What to expect ?

Student should be able to deliver 7 min speech independently with 15 min preparation

Student should be able to fulfil all speaker roles and  produce their own research file
Each student should have competed in at least one tournament with speaker scores of 75-77 (average to above average standard)
