Competitive Debate Classes

A Competitive Debating student in a Beginner class will be transferred to the Intermediate class upon completing one (1) year and having competed in an official tournament, with the approval of the trainer.

Note: To ensure maximum learning progress and growth, the student is encouraged to attend all classes throughout the semester. If students are absent from class, there will be no replacement class arranged.
What to expect ?
Semester 1
Student should be able to deliver 7 min speech independently with 15 min preparation
Semester 2
Student should be able to fulfil all speaker roles and produce their own research file
Semester 3
Each student should have competed in at least one tournament with speaker scores of 75-77 (average to above average standard)
