Each year, nearly two thousand students from the UK and Ireland compete in Oxford Schools', representing more than 250 schools. Hundred more participate through the international rounds, which span more than twenty countries across every continent except Antarctica. Intertext is proud to be exclusive partner for the qualifiers for Malaysia, Singapore, Korea and Japan regions. The competition provides students with a fantastic opportunity to build their confidence and skills in public speaking, structured argumentation, and analytical problem-solving, all while engaging with some of the brightest young minds from across the country and the world. It is open to all ages and experience levels.

The top-performing teams go on to compete in Finals Day, held at the storied Oxford Union. One of the world’s most prestigious debating societies, the Union has been a stage for some of history's most influential voices for over 195 years, honouring a deeply rooted tradition of championing spirited discussion and bold ideas.
