Intertext Education is proud to be partnering with the Oxford Union to host the Malaysia, Singapore and Japan Qualifier Rounds for the prestigious Oxford Schools’ Debating Competition. Oxford Schools' is an international debating competition organised by the Oxford Union. 

 

​Each year, nearly two thousand students from the UK and Ireland compete in Oxford Schools', representing more than 250 schools. Hundreds more participate through the international rounds, which span more than twenty countries across every continent except Antarctica. As the Official Malaysia, Singapore and Japan Regional Partner of Oxford Schools', Intertext Education provides students with an exclusive pathway to advance to the Oxford Schools' Final Round in the United Kingdom.

Students begin their respective  journey at the Malaysia/Singapore/Japan Qualifier, where they compete against talented young debaters and develop their skills in the challenging British Parliamentary (BP) debate format. The Top 4 teams from each Qualifier will advance to the Oxford Schools' Final Round in the UK, competing against the best schools debaters from around the world in the famous Oxford Union Debate Chamber.
